There is nothing better than getting to see your team up first on Match of the Day – unless you’ve been on the end of a thumping.
Being the top billing means you’ve been involved in a thrilling game, at the very least, and if you’ve lost it you can at least get an early night in.
Some clubs, though, appear to be on first a lot more often than others, whether they deserve to be or not.
Luckily, The Times have looked back at the shows this season and worked out which sides have opened the show, hosted by Gary Lineker, most often.
