Taiwo Awoniyi has revealed his frustration at failing to make his Liverpool debut despite signing for the club almost four years ago.
The 21-year-old joined the Reds from Nigeria’s Imperial Academy in August 2015, but work permit issues have stalled his Anfield career.
Awoniyi has been loaned to Royal Excel Mouscron twice, FSV Frankfurt, NEC and Gent in an attempt to play regular first-team football.
He has scored seven goals in ten league games for Royal Excel Mouscron in the Belgian top-flight this season.

“At the end of the season we have to go back to Liverpool to discuss.
