Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the new Manchester United manager.
The Premier League side confirmed the former Old Trafford striker has been given a three-year contract, having been appointed caretaker manager in December.
When Solskjaer replaced Mourinho, United were sixth and 11 points off the top four, but they actually top the league in terms of points won since he took over.

Solskjaer is now Man United’s permanent manager
He is loved by fans, having spent 11 years at the club between 1996 and 2007, most memorably scoring the winner in the 1999 Champions League final.
Solskjaer joined from Molde for just £1.5m and supporters could be forgiven for being slightly underwhelmed considering it was Alan Shearer that Sir Alex Ferguson wanted to sign.
Shearer joined Newcastle for £15m not that the 23-year-old ‘baby-face assassin’ felt any expectation.
