Tottenham can seize control of the top four race when they welcome Brighton to the new White Hart Lane on Tuesday night – but the north Londoners will be without some key players.
Moussa Sissoko is the latest addition to the club’s lengthy injury list, with the influential Frenchman set to miss the next two weeks with a groin problem.
He joins long-term absentee Harry Kane in the treatment room, while Hugo Lloris, Harry Winks and Erik Lamela are all doubts for the visit of the Seagulls.
Spurs, who lost 1-0 to Manchester City just three days ago, also host West Ham on Saturday and then have the small matter of a Champions League semi-final against Ajax on 30 April.
Brighton are in dreadful form, but with qualification for next season’s Champions League not yet secured and the Seagulls fighting for survival, manager Mauricio Pochettino insists he will not down tools for the Premier League clash.

â€Å“But we need to go step-by-step, the players know it.
