Manchester United have the strength in attack to worry a nervous Barcelona defence.
That’s according to Camp Nou legend Xavi, who was speaking ahead the two European giants’ Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday night.
While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted stopping Lionel Messi will be of maximum importance for the Red Devils, there are a plethora of ways Barca can hurt teams.
As best exemplified against Tottenham Hotspur in the group stages at Wembley, trying to stop Messi merely creates space for the likes of Luis Suarez and Ivan Rakitic.
Former blaugrana midfielder Xavi exclusively told the Daily Mirror he feels as though his former side are not impossible to beat however.
And while the current Barca captain may well be the best in the world, Xavi feels as though the Red Devils can tear through a porous defence.

Of course, without the firepower to trouble top European teams, progression to the later stages of this famous competition is almost nigh-on impossible.
But the World Cup winner conceded that, under Solskjaer, Manchester United are a team to be feared at this stage.
